The best airline in Europe, Turkish Airlines, has designed a themed aircraft for the UEFA Champions League, one of the most followed sports events in the World.
Having the title of being the first airline company in the world to sponsor the UEFA Champions League, whose 2023 final will take place in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines' newly designed aircraft has the Airbus A330. The UEFA Champions League themed aircraft with the tail number TC-JNM made its first flight from Istanbul Airport to Paris on the first day of the new year with the flight numbered TK1821.
Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat; “We will host the final in 2023 of the UEFA Champions League, of which we are one of the official sponsors, in Istanbul. We are happy to be an important part of this event, which will take place in the 100th anniversary of our Republic. Our aircraft, which has the theme of the UEFA Champions League, one of the most important sponsorships in Turkish sports history, is a sign of the importance we attach to sports. I wish the best for our newly designed aircraft, which we brought together with the sky.” said.
The implementation process of the new UEFA Champions League themed design of the aircraft, which reached the skies after nearly 2 months of work, was carried out by Turkish Technic and completed in 4 days.
