The earthquakes that took place in Türkiye on February 6, as you can imagine, deeply affected life. This has also affected the situation in universities. If you are planning to come to Türkiye in the 2022-2023 Spring term, it may be to your advantage to take action regarding the updates.
Unfortunately, millions of people were affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye: Thousands of people lost their lives. Some of the citizens whose houses are uninhabitable will be placed in university dormitories. A statement was made today about the victims who lost their homes. Dormitories used for university students were opened to the use of earthquake victims.

Today, the President announced that universities will continue with distance learning until the summer. In other words, universities in Türkiye will continue distance education just like in the pandemic period.
