With a decision taken in 2021, emergency phone numbers for different areas in Türkiye were combined. Although it has been almost a year, even those living in Türkiye can sometimes call their old phone numbers.
In emergencies, 110 Fire, 112 Ambulance, 155 Police Emergency, 156 Gendarmerie, 122 AFAD (search and rescue, natural disaster), 177 Forest Fire and 158 Coast Guard numbers were used. Now 112 is dialed for all these different departments. I hope you don't have to call, but I want you to have it in mind.
Verry usseful, since Turkey became verry popular travel destination.
