Recipe: Pişi (Turkish Boortsog)

I think one of the common points of world cuisines is fried dough foods. The most famous fried dough food, which is prepared with different recipes from the Anatolian peninsula to the Mongolian steppes, should be pişi. Or more commonly called boortsog. It can be claimed that it has a special place in Turkish cuisine as well as in Mongolian, Russian, Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik and Turkmen cuisines.

The recipe in this post is for the plain pişi. The ground meat you see in the video is for the ground meat pişi. Potatoes and cheese are also quite common; but I guess the common point of everyone is the plain one... It is usually consumed with tea. I recommend that you prepare breakfast dishes that suit your taste, such as honey and cheese.
