A section from the courtyard

The famous poet was born in the house built in the 1700's and spent his childhood in this house. The house, purchased in 1973, was turned into a museum and opened its doors to visitors the same year. The house is a museum worth visiting both in the architectural sense and in the point of view of the poet and his family's belongings.

There are four houses surrounding the courtyard. These four houses are also built for four different seasons. Indeed, you can experience that all four houses have a different atmosphere according to the season you are going to visit.

The museum is open to visitors every day of the week. You can visit the museum, which opened its doors at 8 am, until 5 pm.

One of the first verses of his most famous poem...

The age is thirty-five! Half of the way!

We're in the middle of life like a Dante.

The fire we felt at the time of our youth,

When complaining is no use any longer,

Goes out without caring about tears.
