Turkey's Ambassador to Serbia, Hami Aksoy, shared a good news in bilateral relations on his social media account. Travel period with identity is coming soon...
Relations between the two states have gained momentum in recent years. Many Turkish investors are investing in Serbia. As in the business world, there are developments in diplomacy, education and tourism. Air Serbia, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus have direct flights between Istanbul and Belgrade.
Mr. Aksoy shared on his social media account that it will soon be possible to travel with an identity card. Thus, Turkish citizens will be able to travel to Serbia and Serbian citizens to Turkey with only their identity cards.
~ Currently, citizens of 15 states can travel to Turkey with identity cards:
Germany, Belgium, France, Georgia, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Liechtenstein,Luxemburg, Malta, Portugal, Ukraine, and Greece.
